Installation, Maintenance & Inspection of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) course offers participants the opportunity to attain the skills that meet the requirements of AS/NZS 4761 Competencies for working with electrical equipment for hazardous areas (EEHA).
This course provides electrical workers with the specialized skills and knowledge required to perform installation, maintenance, testing and inspection of electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres.
Electricians and Electrical Engineers to understand their requirements in hazardous area classification, explosion-protection techniques, equipment installation requirements, inspections and procedures for breakdowns and maintenance. Ex and HA theory and practical are covered with an emphasis on inspection and testing.

AS/NZS 4761-2.2 Enter a classified hazardous area to undertake work related to electrical equipment
AS/NZS 4761-2.3 Conduct visual and close inspection of electrical installations for hazardous area
AS/NZS 4761-2.4 Determine the explosion-protection requirements to meet a specified classified hazardous area
AS/NZS 4761-2.5 Install explosion-protected equipment and associated apparatus and wiring systems
AS/NZS 4761-2.6 Maintain Electrical equipment associated with hazardous areas
AS/NZS 4761-2.7 Conduct detailed inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas
AS/NZS 4761-2.8 Plan electrical installations for hazardous areas

Theoretical & Practical
Certificate of Completion issued by CTE Australia PTY LTD. In accordance with As/NZS 4761 Competencies for Working with Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
